About Dubai Island
Dubai Islands (formerly Deira Islands) is a waterfront master development by Nakheel off the Deira coastline, made up of five islands planned around beaches, marinas, resorts, golf and residential districts. Bridges tie it back into Deira, with the airport around twenty minutes away and the district positioned as the centrepiece of Dubai's northern coastline revival.
For buyers, it is one of the few places in Dubai offering freehold beachfront and near-beach plots in a new master plan rather than an established, built-out area. Hotel, residential and mixed-use plots trade actively as the masterplan builds out, and early infrastructure — roads, beaches and the first residential handovers — is already in place, which has kept developer interest high.
